“”I just recently took on this project as our countertops were dated and worn out. The 3rd step (countertop coating) comes with a video of instructions for the whole job. There is alot of good info in the video. I suggest getting a good, rounded edge, steel trowel as it makes it that much easier. 1st step is easy, its just like paint but with grit in it for the stone to adhear to. 2nd step takes a little time to lay out. It is better to do 2 thin coats as it will dry better. The stone will only trowel out so thin so it is fairly easy to trowel out. When doing research on this product I found everyone said the coverage was way off but you have to understind that it will cover the area specified with a skim coat. Coverage was dead on in my mind. Just be sure to remember you will need 2 coats to cover countertop. Make sure you let this dry for as long as possible. The video also says you can sand this product but just as a warning it does not sand well so make sure to get as smooth as possible when troweling. 3rd step is definatly the hardest out of all of them. Make sure to mix apoxy well for 3 to 4 mins. Apoxy spreads easily with a good paint brush. Because the apoxy is a self level
