CIL’s kitchen/bath satin finish is incredibly sophisticated. It dries to a very thick, mid-sheer finish that is flattering under any light. I painted over an older kitchen previously finished with an older CIL semi-gloss formulation. This paint really feels like a step up! The harshness of the previous semi-gloss finish was toned down, while it appears surprisingly more durable. The ceramic microsphere agent in this CIL Smart line really does give the impression of a ceramic-like, durable finish. If you’ve been painting your high moisture areas with semi-gloss, as customary, don’t hesitate to try CIL’s kitchen/bath satin. The results are much more satisfying. The job of painting was also a breeze as the paint maintained a nice, consistent flow.
