Northwest UU Earth Ministry Solar Power Project
on Mar 29 in Lowes DIY
On Jan 29, 2009 Northwest Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta began its three year mission to free itself from the coal-fired electrical grid. Installation of 20 Schuco-USA solar photovoltaic (PV) modules was completed constituting the first phase of a 108 solar module array. The Congregation is combining solar energy and energy conservation to reach its ultimate goal of zero carbon emission. The Congregation undertook this project under the leadership of its Earth Ministry Team and in reverence of Unitarian Universalists’ seventh principle, respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. Upon completion the array will generate 2540kwh/month or 30480kwh/year of clean electricity.

Dude. Who gives a monkeys.. If they give away solar Panels, for Free who realy cares if they last or not. Forget about the Carbon emisions too. Hell Your Not giving your money to the “Corporate MAN” which is damn good news.. Feed Not the Evil Society. Live Green. Just as Christ said. 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than clothing?
Mat 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye is good, your whole body shall be full of light.
Just wait a couple years until you need service from Schuco-USA who made the panels. I was a window dealer when they sold windows and they do everything possible IMO to not live up to their warranties. I’ve been asking for repair parts for customers for over a year with no luck. They have a BBB rating of F.

Thanks. Are you feeling pangs of carbon guilt. Do you fear the flames of global warming. Let your LED light shine bright. For only $250, you can make a tax deductible donation that provides a 100kwh/yr carbon indulgence. you can really help assuage your guilt with a donation of $1,500 to have your very own solar PV panel on NWUUC’s roof. If you don’t feel carbon guilty, what better Valentine’s Day gift for the planet earth than buying a solar panel. This is your project too. Get involved.
what a great project!
the earth thanks you!
