Is John Russel’s Power 4 Home Really a Scam?

on Nov 06 in Lowes DIY

One of the top selling home renewable energy guides on the internet right now is John Russel’s Power 4 Home e-book. The manual sells by the hundreds of copies every month.

Even though the book is in the best seller list, many people are still very skeptical. Some people even think Power 4 Home is nothing but a scam.

This is understandable if you have never bought anything from the internet. Unlike going to a book store to purchase a book, on the internet, there is actually a web site highlighting the content of the e-book with a very convincing sales copy.

What does the Power 4 Home e-book promises? Basically, the manual promised to show its reader how to build a Do It Yourself (DIY) solar panel for less than $200.

Can this be done? If a lay person were to follow the instructions in the manual and is unable to work within that budget, wouldn’t that proves Power 4 Home is a scam?

But to be fair, if someone were to follow the instruction to the letter and managed to make a solar module for less than $200, does that confirm the legitimacy of John Russel’s e-book?

Therefore, in order to prove the claims in Power 4 Home, someone has to get their hands dirty and try to make a solar panel within a limited budget by following exactly all the instructions in the manual. Are you that person?

Most people do not know this, but there is a fundamental flaw on the internet. Meaning, anyone can write and publish whatever they like even without concrete prove.

Anyone can claim they have been scammed, cheated or taken for a ride by an internet membership program or an e-book. Most of the time, these people may not even be in the said membership program customer database or read the content of the e-book at all.

Some people just like to complain just for the sake of complaining. And with the internet, they can do so with the safety of being behind the computer and not having to show any concrete prove of the own claims.
